I am not afraid of anything. At least I think I am not afraid of anything. So the other day, I was talking to a friend of mine, a big, strong guy the very epitome of fearless and masculinity. All of a sudden, a spider crawls up to him, and he goes ballistic.
Ron Weasley anyone?
In his defence, the spider was kind of big, about half the size of my pinkie. Besides it being really funny to watch him run around afraid, I learned from his experience. I realized that everyone is afraid. We all have one, two or maybe an entire list of things that make us squeamish.
Whether everyone knows what it is or it is something we keep under wraps. So this (past) Halloween period (and toward Christmas), what are you afraid of?
Fun Fact: Halloween began as a religious holiday.
