I am who I chose to be

I love who I fall in love with

I have emotional attachments

I am freely and openly in a relationship

Just because we are of the same gender,

It does not mean we cannot fall in love

Just because we are forever scared to speak up,

It does not mean we are ashamed of ourselves

Just because we are emotionally attracted to each other,

It does not mean we aren’t human

We are different in many ways

But we respect other people’s differences too

We are religiously not recognised

But we do have believes

We are segregated from the rest of the community

But we are surely part of a RAINBOW nation

Let my differences make me unique

Allow my sexually to give me pride

Let my love be seen as genuine

Allow my partner and I to be happy

Let the RAINBOW nation,
